Value added approach needed
The time is long overdue for rethinking the role and purpose of county advisery boards. The more-is better approach has proven to be
an unsubstantiated truth.
The county commission should be willing to set the priorities for advisory boards based on the immediate needs of the county. Marketing the county's brand to the world should be the mission of several of the existing advisory boards.
